Susan Galloso
I am a graduate of the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley where I received training in a variety of holistic Asian bodywork modalities. I am also a birth doula and yoga instructor. At the Berkeley Acupuncture Project I offer tui na, an ancient form of Chinese medical massage utilizing brushing, kneading, palm pressure, rubbing between joints and range of motion to facilitate the body’s healing response. Acupressure is another therapy I employ, helping to release tension and stress by applying gentle finger pressure to specific points around the body, encouraging the flow of energy throughout. My specialization is in women’s health, and pregnancy massage is just one of the special treats I offer pregnant mothers during their amazing journey.
I am available for walk-ins or appointment on Tuesdays from 10am – 7pm and Thursdays 10am – 7pm.
